Northside Festival 2012, Day One

I’m at least 200 years old. Or I’m indecisive. Yesterday was the first day of the fourth annual Northside Festival in Brooklyn. This was the first year I was able to attend the festival and so I picked up my press pass bright and early at 8:30 AM. Zero line. I figured, at the time, I was totally winning the weekend.

Fast forward to 6:15pm. I left work, booked it over to the Northside HQ Happy Hour Lounge, sipped half a Heineken Light, snapped a few photos, and prepared for the crazy night ahead. Since I had some time to kill, I stopped into one of my favorite spots, The Lovin Cup Cafe, for a happy hour margarita. By 8pm, via text message to a friend, I convinced myself to spend the rest of the evening on my couch watching Netflix.

I’m sad I missed Niki & the Dove last night at Glasslands but I’m very excited for the full schedule tonight. More pictures soon!
